WHAT IS POWER ATHLETE ?
Power athlete is a strength and conditioning program designed to develop powerful, fast athletes. We use a comprehensive strength program combined with speed training and high intensity metabolic conditioning. The program includes Power lifting, Olympic lifting, Kettlebell training, Plyo-metric training, Sprinting and Change of direction drills. Workouts are constantly varied and programmed over a five day training week. Expect max effort lifts, lots of volume and lots of intensity, power athlete builds not only physically strong but mentally strong athletes.

The program is designed to work for all levels of fitness, age and experience. All the workouts can be scaled to meet the fitness levels and ability of the individual.

WHAT IF I’M NOT COMPETING IN A SPORT, WILL THE PROGRAMME BE GOOD FOR ME?
Power athlete was designed with rugby and other contact sports in mind but many people who don’t compete in sport use the programme. If you’re looking to get bigger, stronger and faster then this is for you, if you’re looking to improve work capacity and get in shape then this is for you. The programme works well regardless of whether or not you’re training for sport. We are trying to build Strong, powerful athletes, looking good naked is a by product of the hard work we put in.
